About me

I have a PhD in War Studies from King's College London and wrote my doctoral thesis on Israel's deterrence of Hamas. I now work as an adjunct professor in Security Studies at UMass Lowell and have authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and newspaper articles on topics ranging from deterrence and targeted killings to terrorism and Western counterterror policy and strategy. I am also a freelance translator, proofreader, and German teacher, and, of course, a blog author on international affairs.
